Students’ life
Turan University offers an active academic, scientific and sports life, the initiators and engines of which are the students themselves. The University creates favorable conditions for the professional development of students and the disclosure of their creative and entrepreneurial potential, facilitates the establishment of relations between youth public associations both within the Republic of Kazakhstan and abroad.
Students who have shown the best results in studies and conducted active scientific activity during the year are awarded with the honorary title of «Student of the Year», the most active students – «Activist of the Year». The best student organizations annually compete for the title “Breakthrough of the Year”.
Best of the best students are invited to a special dinner with the rector, which usually takes place in fashionable restaurants of the city. Such meetings in «without ties» format with the rector of Turan University gives an opportunity to talk on topics of interest to students, listen to Rakhman Alshanovich’s advices, and receive instructions and a huge charge of positive energy.
The university encourages students who take an active part in the life of the university or have achieved sports achievements by giving them benefits of tuition fee.

In the process of work, Director’s and other creative solutions offered by students are welcomed, discussed and accepted collectively.

Each month the Committee for Matters Concerning Young Persons of the university conducts interesting teambuilding days, trips to Tau-Turan camp, where students get to know each other and learn to work in a team. For the diversified development of the activists of the university trainings and master classes with the invitation of specialists from different fields are organized.
